Accomodations in Chattanooga, TN - Posted: 06 May, 2007
For those guests flying in for our reception on Signal Mountain, TN the airport that is most cost effective is Atlanta. There is a shuttle to Chattanooga that is approx 2 hours. For hotels in Chattanooga, we recommend the downtown area. Signal Mountain is approx 15 minutes driving time from downtown.

Airline Tickets - Posted: 16 Apr, 2007
The airport guests will be flying into is Sangstar International in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Ocho Rios is approximately 60 miles or 1.5 hours from Montego Bay. Shuttle transportaion is available and provided by most resorts. We highly recommend booking your airline tickets in advance and refundable in the unfortunate event of a hurricane. Hurricanes are rare in Jamaica and we hope we have beautiful weather! The airline tickets are ranging from $350+ east coast, and $450+ west coast. We will be getting married and staying at Prospect Plantation in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The plantation consists of 5 beautiful and fully staffed villas. You can view www.prospect-villas.com for pictures, etc. We have rented 3 of the 5 villas. Frangipini for 1 week
Wag Water for 1 week
Frankfurt for 3 nights (beachfront wedding site)
The following two villas are available for rental. The Plantation has offered us a 10% discount. Eight Rivers (4 bedroom) $4500 for 1 week (8 people) or $162 per night per couple 2 night min.
Somewhere (4 bedroom) $3600 for 1 week (8 people) or $128.56 per night per couple 2 night min.
We would love to fill all of the villas and take over the entire plantaion for our wedding, so please let us now if you are interested so we can help coordinate schedules to fill the villas. 30% of the rental is due to hold the villa. The remaining 70% is due in August.
